My World Peace With Justice Award
After Emile’s passing, with the permission of his family, in his memory and honour, and to preserve his legacy, a My World “Peace with Justice” Award was created.
The first recipient was Dr. Ed Napke in 2016 in Ottawa, a world-renowned medical scientist.
The second recipient was Ambassador John W. McDonald, Washington, D.C. in 2017. He was an American diplomat and international development and peacebuilding expert, appointed twice by Presidents Carter and Reagan to represent the United States at United Nations World Conferences.
The third (posthumous) recipient did receive the award is Joellene Adams, on Sept. 15, 2022 in Akwesasne. She was Executive-Director in 1990-1993 of “Sken Nen Kowa * – an organization for Peace in Akwesasne”. Ernie believes that this exemplary Akwesasne charitable Canadian former corporation is a model for the world, a credit to that incredible Aboriginal community. The explanation of that peacemaking process, with the approval of the family, will be posted later on the evolution of this website. *(Mohawk for Great Peace).
My World is honored to announce that the fourth ‘My World Peace With Justice Award’ was presented to the Conflict Resolution Network (CRN) in Australia on Monday, August 12th, 2024 on the United Nations International Youth Day.
